Camps & Club Information
Art Camp is offered at various times through the school holidays. There is the option of signing up for all days offered or for a day at a time. Children must be registered and fees paid before attending. There are 12 spaces available each day. Fees depend on length of camp and can range from £45 for 3 days to £75 for 5 days or £20 per day.
Children must be registered and fees paid before attending Art Explorer activities unless session is otherwise noted as a drop in with a one time fee.
All materials are supplied and art shirts are available. However, art materials can be messy so please have your child dress appropriately in clothing that they are ok to be messy in as it may come home with paint or ink on it.
Projects include a variety of mediums including tempera or acrylic paint, watercolours, textile fibers, and clay. Each day has a theme with a project related to that theme. A session will start with a warm up activity, followed by an Art Talk with demonstration then a work time. Finally, the children are asked to help with clean up and prep to go home. If the sessions are longer than 2 or 2.5 hours, we will stop for a short break.
A water bottle is recommended as the hut does not have a drinking fountain or cups available. Snacks or other food items are not provided. If a camp session runs longer than 2 hours, we have a short break for the children to eat a snack if they have brought one from home.
The club meets at the Rockfield Centre on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:00 during term time. It is open to children in P2 to P7. The club fees are £50 a term and run between 10 to 12 weeks. Space is limited to 12 children. The club is in high demand. Please email email@example.com and leave a contact email address to be a part of to the notification list for when club registration is open. This is ONLY for notification, not for any type of marketing.
